Learnings of 2018, Rules for 2019

We are stepping into a new year leaving behind another year. Sadhguru says, its not time that flies, it is our life that is going by. We celebrate birthdays not realising that it is life slipping away. Why not celebrate every moment? Not just this year but life is too short to accomplish what we have come for.

Goals that can be achieved are not goals.

They should be larger than life goals. Let us continue working on what will serve others so that the journey itself becomes beautiful!

Here’s me sharing some of the leanings I have had this year which I call “earnings of 2018

  • Everybody is an individual trying to do his best on this planet. If anyone does not do something according to you, it is our own self that needs to be trained, not that person. Let us love and respect one and all.
  • Human beings have and are continuing to work for their selfish motto. However, there are many people walking on this planet who have and are still devoting their lives for the betterment of humanity.

How can I contribute along with them?

  • Children of today’s world need us. They need the wisdom from those who are experienced in their lives. They are stressed out to the point of worry. Let us support our children so they make the world better for themselves and future generations. Let us help them use technology to their benefit, not to their detriment.
  • If the situation does not sit in your framework of expectations, either change the situation or accept it happily. This is the only and very important way to be healthy and happy.
  • If you are healthy in body, mind and spirit you have all the chances to actively work on yourself as well as serve others. If you do not enjoy optimal health, how can you even think of helping others in anyway?
  • It is never too late to begin the path you have always wanted to walk on. I started to walk on mine in 2018. Dreams do come true!

Here are 10 Rules I have set for 2019. I welcome you to set them and more for yourself too:

  • Learn from every soul, learn from nature and learn from your mistakes. Be generous and be kind
  • Wake up early each morning to achieve more towards self-development. To achieve waking up early, think of the foods you put in your body.
  • Multi-tasking is not so bad as it is named. To be able to multi-task, you need to be efficient and have a super body, tranquil mind and aligned energies.
  • Start writing a journal if you haven’t. I will continue my gratitude journal.
  • Take time out for self – care. Nothing is more important than that.
  • Do one thing that gets you near your fear zone because that’s where possibilities lie.
  • Find time for everybody who needs you. Your energies are ONE.
  • Exercise every day physically and mentally – practice gratitude.
  • Take responsibility to give your kids your time and expose them to nature, so that they feel how important humanity and mother Earth are for them.
  • Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for the sake of this planet where we live; we owe this to the land we live on.
