Sweet Winter Bites
Ingredients
Roasted Peanuts – 1 cup
Brown Sesame Seeds – 2 cups
Desiccated Coconut – 1 cup
Date Jaggery – 1.5 cup
Water – 2 Tablespoons
Organic Ghee – 1.5 Tablespoons
Preparation
Roast peanuts to make them crunchy.
Grind peanuts to be semi-crushed.
Add sesame seeds and desiccated coconut.
Mix all above dry ingredients.
Take Date Jaggery, scrape it into small pieces.
Take Date Jaggery, scrape it into small pieces.
Add water and put the jaggery on low flame to
melt it. When it starts bubbling and gets a bit sticky, remove from flame.
Add Ghee to the dry mixture, mix it well.
Add this mixture to melted jaggery. Mix well.
Flatten the mixture on a flat tray.
User roller pin moistened with ghee to flatten the mixture on the tray.
You may flatten it up to the thickness you wish for your sweet bites. Use a knife to cut the flattened mixture into bite size squares.
Let it cool for about 30 minutes and its ready to relish ! Enjoy!
Makes: Approx. 100 squares

Note:
* Do not Consume if you are allergic to Nuts of any kind. Alternate option of Dry Roasted Chickpeas (Chana) can be used the same way.
