I believe that our parents or our caretakers gave us what best they could in their time.
We all generally ate limited choice food when it comes to grains – Wheat & Rice is what I remember from my childhood and occasional treats from my grandmother which was bread made from Sorghum (we call it “Jowar”) and Pearl Millet (Bajra).
Other than that, I have learnt it all and can make much more wider choice now than before. I am thankful for this learning over the years.
Why do we talk so much about “Gluten” these days?
